In 1998, the Aberdeen site was moved from
a nearby AgriMet station to
the current location shown in this picture. The LI-COR
pyranometer for global measurements is located on a three-foot beam
approximately 40 feet about the ground. The shadowband
for diffuse measurements is mounted on a nine-foot pole to the south of the
tower. |
