SRML stations: Portland, OR (Latitude: 45.40; Longitude: 122.58; Altitude: 98 m) The Portland station was part of the original UO solar monitoring network. It was located at the Ross substation in Vancouver from 1980-1983 (Lat.=45.65; Long.=122.67; Alt.=135 m). In September 1983, it was moved to Reed College (Lat.=45.45; Long.=122.64; Alt.=45 m) until monitoring ended in 1985. In 1999 a new solar monitoring station was established in Gladstone. Station maintenance This Portland station was part of the Clackamas Community College Environmental Learning Center program. Data are share via an agreement with Portland General Electric. Doug Boleyn managed and maintained the station on the roof of his house. |
